Overview

HAND is by and for neurodivergent individuals. Nobody is more of an expert on disabled lives than disabled people. Despite this, policy makers and even other activists often fail to center neurodivergent voices in discussions concerning neurodiversity. HAND seeks to ensure that autistic people aren't left out of conversations about autism, that learning disabled people aren't left out of conversations about learning disability, etc.
