Our passion is in building healthy local food systems with an emphasis on rural economic/cultural development. Home Sweet Farm promotes small scale - community centered - sustainable development. We do this by... FARMING: 22 acres and the first CSA farm in S.E. Texas serving over 380 members weekly in the Greater Houston area since 2004. CONSULTING & EDUCATION: Home Sweet Farm School is an online Small Farm Coaching Series, Podcast, Blog, Consulting and the Annual Market Growers Symposium COMMUNITY EVENTS: Our Market & Biergarten is located in Brenham, "The Birthplace of Texas" (and home to Blue Bell Ice Cream) with an emphasis on Local Farms, Craft Beer and Live Music developed as a cultural center for the Historic Downtown District. FARM KITCHEN: A Commercial Kitchen for farm inspired food manufacturing. This kitchen will be available for lease to support our local food community.
