Home Nursing Foundation

Overview

Home Nursing Foundation (HNF) was set up under the Ministry of Health to address the urgent need for cost-effective home-nursing services. HNF was registered as a voluntary welfare organisation (VWO) on 2 October 1976 and since September 1996, we have been a member of the Health Endowment Fund, a gazetted Institution of Public Character (IPC) administered by the Ministry of Health. HNF provides home nursing, home medical, home therapy, home personal care and social welfare to patients in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Apart from home care services, HNF also has its own integrated day care facilities known as 'HNF Wellness Centres' that take care of seniors' health and social needs. HNF Wellness Centres provides the following programmes - Maintenance and Dementia Day Care, Community Rehabilitation, Centre-based Nursing, Home Care and Active Ageing Hub. Using a person-centric approach, our programmes are designed to keep our seniors active physically, mentally and socially through different forms of activities and empower our seniors to age joyfully and with dignity in the community.
