Fund Overview: Hocklin Investment Management, LLC is a high-growth innovative technologies investment fund that was capitalized in January 2020 and officially incorporated in March 2021. It serves a small and select group of member investors and operates as a Partnership. Innovative technologies include the cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), e-commerce, 5G, augmented reality (AR), analytics, electric vehicles (EV), financial technology (Fintech), clean energy and DNA sequencing. Other momentum sectors, such as cannabis companies and Bitcoin, are also represented in the fund. The portfolio presently consists of 80+ U.S. and global equities, and has a sector allocation mix consisting of micro to large-cap Information Technology (50%), Communication Services (10%), Consumer Discretionary (10%), Healthcare (10%) and all-other-sectors (20%). Fund Performance: In it's debut year 2020, the fund returned a time-weighted investment rate of return (IRR) of 186.5% compared to the S&P 500 Index return of 18.4%.
