Overview

HiveUp CTE (CleanTech Entrepreneurship) is a community founded with the aim of combining three key concepts: sustainability, technology and entrepreneurship. We believe that the transition of the Italian and global economic system towards a more sustainable model can be stimulated by a greater awareness among young people and companies regarding sustainability issues: only starting from a strong commitment of companies, the scalability of ecological solutions on the market could be achieved. Among these solutions, the Clean Technology (CleanTech) industry includes all the innovative technologies which aim to reduce the environmental impact of production processes, lowering energy and natural resources consumption or waste production, with the long-term goal of a global sustainable economy mainly based on renewable resources. Our MISSION HiveUp CTE aims to develop an educational ecosystem building a network of young people, companies and startups in order to foster entrepreneurship in the Cleantech industry in Italy. Our goal is to accelerate the sustainable revolution of the Italian economic system through the growth of startups in the cleantech sector, contributing in this way to the achievement of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and helping Italy to succeed in an highly strategic sector for the future.
