Overview

Fighting COVID19 requires mobilization of the whole society - not just the government. As the government response naturally has shortcomings, civil society needs to step up. The high number of social initiatives popping up in line with Covid19 bears witness to society stepping up to this challenge. Thus, the positive social impact of this endeavour is very high. However, with the sheer number of initiatives out there, there is a gap in skills and resource matching. In order to support initiatives across all fields to reach their potential, we are compiling, listing, and categorizing all social initiatives on one central platform. This makes it easy for people to search based on their objectives and preferences and thus to either take part in or benefit from these initiatives work. We offer an easily navigable user journey across three dimensions: 1. You want to get involved? With the #hilferegister you can find relevant initiatives in your surroundings or ones to donate to 2. You or your relatives need help? With the #hilferegister you can find a suitable initiative to support you (e.g. search criteria for: risk group, farmers needing support, cultural workers, students) 3. Your initiative needs more outreach? You can place requests in the #hilferegister to help more people with your initiative.
