Hildashaus e.V. is a non profit organization based in Berlin that creates safe spaces for FINTA* in vulnerable and marginalized positions and shares tools to achieve economic self-empowerment. Our tools are the combination of physical, psychological, social and educational empowerment that for us represent the pillars for economic self-empowerment. Recognizing gender disparities in social initiatives with refugee communities, hildashaus works in the front-line to approach women displaced by war not as victims but as future guardians, leading their communities towards a more democratic society. Female refugees' economic empowerment requires long-term, comprehensive and integrated responses that take into account the psychological, physical and educational challenges that they experience because of war and abuse. hildashaus' integrated cross-sectoral approach allows addressing the multi-faceted needs of the female refugees community.
