HOPS Heritage Railways provides management and compliance support for heritage railways, museums and centres through the provision of tools, resources and consultancy. HOPS's resources are continuously being developed by heritage and professional railway operators. HOPS was started in 2009 and now administers over 40,000 staff at over 130 heritage centres and museums in the UK and Australia.
