Overview
It is our Mission to be the premier provider of accessible, cost effective, and quality behavioral healthcare services to the people of South Florida, in order to promote their mental health and well-being. Established in 1953, Henderson Behavioral Health (HBH or Henderson) provides healthcare, housing, and hope for over 30,000 persons of all ages with behavioral health conditions in Florida each year. Through care, supported employment, advocacy, and housing, Henderson assists and inspires people with mental illnesses and substance use disorders to reclaim their lives. Henderson Behavioral Health does not discriminate in the provision of services based on an individual’s: • Inability to pay; • Medicare, Medicaid, or Children’s Health Insurance Program coverage; or • Race, color, sex, national origin, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity. (i) No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay, and (ii) There is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.
