Hekos Srl and the idea of producing new types of efficiency heaters able to eliminate the traditional radiators and reduce consumption, is due to Dario Meneghel. After a long period of experience in the civil and industrial heating sector, during one of his trips, he has bumped into a new heating system that enthused him, so he’s started to search a way for introducing it in Italy. In 1990, after numerous surveys, tests and prototypes, Dario Meneghel and his staff reached the goal: the new radiant baseboard heater Thermodul. An innovative radiant heating system based on the principle of thermal radiation that allows a natural and effective diffusion of heat in the rooms combined with a high level of wellness. This skirting board heating solution is able to heat the wall evenly and homogeneously, from the bottom to the top, without lifting dust or bacteria. Furthermore, these efficency radiant heat panels respect the environment because they require less water than conventional radiators to work and they reach the comfort point at a lower temperature (2-3 ° C less) ensuring a sensible saving on gas consumption.
