Dementia care reimagined - we are a group of volunteer business people and community members in Heathcote VIC establishing dementia care models for rural and regional communities that can be adapted throughout Australia and Internationally. The aim is to support those living with dementia and their carers to live as independently and safely as possible within their own communities through the use of hi-tech 'care villas'. The Care Villas can be moved from farm or family property to a group setting in the community or to a residential care setting without the person losing the comfort or familiarity of their home environment. We have fabulous Industry mentors, assistance from universities, Dementia Australia and other related businesses keen to be a part of our vision.
