The Health eResearch Centre is delivering large scale, population wide health improvements by harnessing the power of information and technology. Bringing together research and development excellence from across the North of England the Health eResearch Centre (www.herc.ac.uk) is streamlining the pace of progress in UK-health by turning under-used health data into new knowledge. Cross-sector, cross-discipline and with the financial backing of a nine-strong consortium of awarding organisations HeRC provides a universal health data science offering to academia, the NHS and a multitude of industry partnerships. At the heart of our work is one central aim: to improve UK health and health services for the good of the general public and their families.
