Overview

Human Development Foundation (HDF) Pakistan is one of the leading non-profit development organizations, registered under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984 of the Government of Pakistan and is also tax-exempt under section 2(36) of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. For 24 years, HDF has been fighting extreme poverty through a unique holistic model comprising social mobilization, education, health, economic development and sustainable environment. We focus on delivering sustainable solutions for human development. Our Vision: To Become a Center of Excellence Known for Progressive and Transformational Human Development Programs Our Core Values: Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Transparency, Efficiency, and Fiscal Responsibility Aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and currently striving in 35 districts of Pakistan, the cornerstone of HDF’s efforts is our commitment to working directly with communities through our Social Capital Development program. In this, HDF facilitates the formation of democratic community organizations which empower individuals to have a say in the decisions that affect them. Through the holistic approach, HDF has transformed over 7,000 villages and has directly benefited over 3.4 million people. HDF’s regular programs run in 9 regions across Pakistan which include; Rahim Yar Khan, Lahore, Tando Muhammad Khan, Karachi, Islamabad Capital Territory, Zhob, Mardan, Muzaffarabad and Rawalpindi.
