The Hamburg Center of Aviation Training-Lab (HCAT +) e.V. is the development network for future-oriented training and further education in the civil aviation industry in the Hamburg metropolitan region, which with more than 40,000 employees is the third largest location in this industry worldwide. In addition to the three large companies - Airbus, Lufthansa Technik and Hamburg Airport - this is owed to the around 300 suppliers and the Hamburg teaching and research institutions. In close coordination with the Hamburg Aviation cluster, the HCAT + forms the interface between education, research, business and the city of Hamburg.
