Overview

Hartford Racing is a student-managed Formula SAE motorsports team representing the University of Hartford. We are composed of university students of all years and disciplines and are supported by generous donors and sponsors. Our mission is to conceptualize, design, build, and race a formula-style racecar which is judged by industry professionals based on the following criteria: -Design ingenuity. -Vehicle performance. -Manufacturing processes. -Cost effectiveness. -Project Management. Hartford Racing also develops tomorrow's industry leaders. Throughout the design and manufacturing process of the racecar, students gain valuable experience using industry standard software in a practical and real-world environment and learn how to lead high performance teams effectively.
