Every year around 1 in every 770 babies will develop hydrocephalus. The condition is life-threatening and there is no cure. There is however, treatment and early diagnosis can improve the outcome as we passionate about raising awareness of the condition. We are a user-led charity which aims to make life better for children affected by hydrocephalus and the families who love and care for them. We do this by: 1) Raising awareness of paediatric hydrocephalus 2) funding front-line health care professionals to learn more about the condition and so improve patient care 3) connecting families to reduce isolation 4) campaigning for better awareness of head circumference measurement as a tool for identifying babies showing signs of the condition #GetAHead
