Hale Orb, a “post-smartphone device” for your family to easily enjoy shared pictures and video on your large screen TV. Hale Orb combines a unique round controller that can be held in the hand. To use the Hale Orb the family members simply share your photos using popular apps like Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, Google Photos, and even email. The Hale Orb and its service automatically aggregates those photos to be shown in one place for Mom. The Orb will light up when a new photo memory from your loved one arrives for you to view. The viewer turns the Orb to browse thousands of images quickly and view them in detail by just pressing it. The viewer can even lightly shake the Orb to let loved ones know how much they liked certain photos and videos. The Orb is 3.5 inches round and is easy to hold in one’s hand. The first edition will be made from wood and plastic and comes in the option of cream white or dark brown wood. “We think this product will help families feel more connected all over the globe," states the founder of the company. Hale Orb is being produced by DouZen. Initially focused purely on software, the team is now creating a hardware and software integrated product, or “enchanted objects”, which are aesthetically pleasing smart home products with great user interfaces.
