Incubated at the Harvard University Innovation Lab, Big Hair Hairiette of Harlem is the brainchild of two time SAG Award winning actress (Best Ensemble) Tanya Wright for her portrayal of Crystal Burset on Orange is the New Black. Tanya is a Master's Candidate (2022) at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education. The Big Hair Hairiette franchise is based on the story of an impatient 7 year old named Hairiette of Harlem who goes on learning adventures with her friend Charlie the Talking Comb!
