Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan is a local nonprofit housing organization with a global vision of a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. We mobilize communities to help working, lower-income families build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. With the help of volunteers, donors, and community partners; we provide a solid foundation for better, healthier lives for families in Saskatchewan. Habitat Saskatchewan was created when Habitat Regina, Habitat Saskatoon and Habitat Prince Albert merged at the beginning of 2021. Our goal was to come together to broaden our reach so we can serve more families in our communities and across the province. Habitat Saskatchewan has served over thousands of families, providing a hand up to more than 175 families so parents and children can have a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home. Families selected for Habitat homeownership help build their homes with Habitat staff, volunteers, future neighbours and other community members.
