Overview

The GXSLab is Canada's leading sport media research organization, with a distinct focus on three key research pillars: 1. Gender Equity and Diversity in Sport 2. Sport Fans and Audience 3. Branding/ Marketing Sport and Athletes As the intersection between scholarly work and industry practice, the GXSLab is where knowledge is transferred. An emphasis is placed on collaboration between students, scholars, faculty, and industry experts to further the Lab’s leadership position within the field and thereby promote meaningful change within the sports industry. Based out of The Catalyst Research Hub at FCAD, Ryerson University.
