Mission is to empower & inspire others through stories of Growth, Resilience, Intention and Tenacity....G.R.I.T. G.R.I.T. Community - Women's Professional Development GROUP https://www.linkedin.com/groups/8987243/ G.R.I.T. was founded to create hope from hardships during a time when our world was struggling with uncertainties during a global Pandemic. G.R.I.T. began from an anthology called Owning Your G.R.I.T. and a small board room of women which has evolved into four more anthologies in the Deconstructing G.R.I.T. Collection including over 200 women's stories and G.R.I.T. Community the women's board room that that supports over 850 women in our community. G.R.I.T. empowers others through vulnerable storytelling. G.R.I.T. is an inclusive community of dynamic women who share their personal lessons for others to possibly utilize as roadmap to empower others. Inspiring our community through storytelling G.R.I.T alleviates loneliness to the silent struggles by providing hope, purpose, self-identity, and community. G.R.I.T. allows you to step into the shoes of others seeing our universal similarities while helping identify our unique differences while we find our G.R.I.T. as we reflect on our personal journeys. The G.R.I.T Community hosts events for women to gather and learn an grow in community while building relationships. G.R.I.T. hosted a Women's Leadership EXPO which was a free event to the community that over 380 participates benefited from and held over 38 vendors. G.R.I.T provides month free virtual professional development, a monthly thought leadership luncheon. G.R.I.T highlights one nonprofit a month to instill a servant leadership mindset while actively supporting our community.
