Overview

GUGC Badminton Club was founded in 2019 by a group of Griffith University Students who shared a common passion towards badminton This club is formally recognised by GUGC Sport - the peak governing body for sport at Griffith University. All though it began as a social club, the urge to compete at the UniSport Nationals led the club to develop a High Performance Squad for coaching, talent identification and development. The club also received the “Best New Club Of The Year” award at the annual Griffith Sport Awards night competing against all the clubs and societies at Griffith University.
