Overview

What is Neurofeedback? Neurofeedback teaches the brain to improve important functions like attention, mood, behavior, cognition, and more. Sensors are applied to the client’s scalp and the EEG signal from the brain is amplified and monitored via computer. This signal is then mirrored back to the client through computer software. There is an immediate reward or challenge to the brain through visual and/or auditory feedback that is often presented as a game or video. Once these healthier brain patterns are practiced and learned, these changes become permanent and often reduce or eliminate the need for many medications.
