GMSO advances science at sea by providing ships to enable research among all types of organizations, including government agencies, universities and research institutions, and nonprofits. With its fleet of smaller ships (60-110 feet) and professionally trained crews, GMSO aims to make ocean field studies available to even the smallest of budgets.
