Overview

GrASS is an unprecedented initiative to merge between architecture and graphic design students at the American University of Beirut (AUB). Established in Fall 2016-2017, the society is organized into a cabinet and five student-run committees, elected annually. These groups cater for a variety of events and activities throughout the academic year. Their work ranges from academic lectures and workshops, to exciting trips and fundraising events. PURPOSE GrASS aims to create a collective educational and social environment. VALUES DIVERSITY: Providing an inclusive environment of architecture and graphic design students from all years RELIABILITY: Fostering an encouraging atmosphere within a unified department COMMITMENT: Pledging to fulfill an established plan of action. ENGAGEMENT: Supporting an integral role, both at the department and campus scales. Some of the events that have taken place to this date include: Movie nights, Dodge ball tournaments, bake sales, BS games, Yoga sessions, logo design competitions...
