Graphic Services was established in 1997 providing production services and crew based in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. In 2007 the business incorporated and acquired the Havelock North Kodak Express Franchise. Subsequently purchasing the Napier Kodak Express and expanding to Hastings in 2012. With the shift to retail the production side of the business moved to a collaboration model working closely with other local businesses, resulting in the creation of "The Collective" for project management.
