We are a family owned business distributing frozen raw dog food. We carry Dog's Choice brand made by Master butcher Rudi Koller and his team in a manufacturing facility in Central Alberta. All dog food is prepared and sourced locally in Alberta. In much the same way humans are eschewing processed food, dog diets are returning to their canine roots with raw diet. Dogs are wired to eat raw meat, bones, offal, fruits and vegetables. A raw food diet provides dogs with the meat protein and plant components they need to thrive - free of fillers and preservatives found in most kibble diets. We deliver to the metro Calgary, Edmonton, and Red Deer areas weekly with resellers in Drayton Valley, Edson, and Bonneyville. We are expanding our Alberta deliveries and establishing local distributors in other communities. The frozen dog food is packaged in one and two pound tubes and sold in 42 lbs boxes. The tubes are similar to the ground beef tubes you see in the grocery store. Our protein and veggie mixes provide balanced nutrition at $2.25 per pound. The average 80 LBS dog will eat 8-12 ounces with an average daily cost of $1.12-$1.68 per day depending on quantity. Most dogs make a gradual transition over the course of 1-2 weeks, depending on age, how long they have been on a kibble diet, current health status, etc. We suggest introducing raw food in increasing quantities as the kibble is decreased and finally eliminated.
