Overview

An initiative started in 2014 by NUST Alumni Mobin Javed and Junaid Khalid with the aim to connect Pakistani students who wish to apply to grad schools with mentors abroad who were once in a similar situation. The mentors at GradApp Lab work closely with the students to bring the best out of their applications. The process starts with a mentor reviewing the student's draft application materials and holding frequent meetings with the student to better understand their aspirations as well as the education/research path they wish to take. GradApp Lab, now in its eighth year, is being led by Anusheh Zohair Mustafeez and Harum Naseem Bhinder, who are currently pursuing their master's at CMU and Harvard respectively. Previously, it was led by Muhammad Taqi Raza and Fatima Anwar from 2016-2020 and by Mobin Javed and Junaid Khalid from 2014-2016.
