Established in 1968, Grace King High School is a public, coed high school located in Metairie, Louisiana. It is part of the Jefferson Parish Schools system, and our students reside in Metairie and some parts of Kenner, Louisiana. Named for Grace King, a New Orleans writer and scholar of Louisiana history, we are called The (Fighting) Irish, and the school colors are hunter green, gold, and white. We offer a variety of sports, and we are a member of the Louisiana High Schools Athletic Association (LHSAA).
