The Foundation of Government Polytechnic Mahoba was laid down in the year 1978. This Institute is Situated on station road in fornt of St. Joseph School at Mahoba the distance of 3 km from the Mahoba Bus stand. Initially this institute started its academic session in year 1980 with only three discipline Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Electronics Engineering with 30 seats for per branch. Latter on in the year 2008 institute started diploma courses Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology. On the whole this Institute is running with Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology intake of 60 seats in each.
