Overview

Options Institute is a pioneer in professional development in College Access and Success. In 2005, Goddard Riverside Options Center launched the Options Institute, a professional development center, to train school and CBO counselors with the skills and knowledge to provide college access services. A pioneer in the field of college access workshops since its inception, The Institute trains between 800 and 1,000 individuals per year in person. In 2012-2015 Options Institute contracted with the New York City Department of Education to train school counselors from nearly all city high schools. Other Options Institute clients include Chicago Public Schools, iMentor, New York Cares, CUNY College Advising Corp., Destination: College and Brooklyn Library. In 2023, Options Institute launched College Access Training, an asynchronous course based on its Foundations Course. Tell a friend or colleague!
