A vision to remove what GMS saw as the 5 main roadblocks preventing people of the world from having access to the best healthcare. To serve these visions, Global Medical Services has five divisions, each serving collaboratively to help the people of the world. To make it possible for medically under-served regions to build large scale and smaller scale, permanent and crisis relief healthcare facilities, GMS developed Global Health Systems, the construction management division of the company. To help existing hospitals and GMS constructed facilities elevate their operations from adequate to excellent in both healthcare and efficiencies, GMS developed Global Health Consulting Group, the hospital management division of the company. To make it possible for individuals who cannot travel to a doctor or hospital, GMS has "brought the doctor to the patient" by developing Virtual Health, the International Telemedicine division of the company. To relieve the hassle, stress, and lack of knowledge when it comes to traveling to another country for healthcare needs, GMS developed Global Destination Health, the Medical Tourism division of the company. Global Destination Health was formerly known as Minnesota International Medicine or MIM. GMS acquired MIM's business and operations in 2017. To address the unique needs of the world’s senior population, GMS developed Global Senior Services which works both privately-owned and government agencies in creating the best practices protocols and training programs which shine a spotlight on risk prevention and accountability.
