Overview

Global India Network of Knowledge is a platform for global Indians to share their knowledge, skills and experience to help India realize its true potential. This platform, endorsed by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA), Government of India and is managed by the Overseas Indian Facilitation Centre (OIFC). This forum is powered by the desire of global Indians and those with an affinity for India, to see the nation as a world knowledge leader. Being a member of the network, provides you an opportunity: • to provide or seek for advice, contacts, assistance and support in the area of Environment, Healthcare, Innovation and Science & Technology; • to convert your ideas, research outputs into actions; • to find research collaborators; and; • to shape the future of India’s knowledge economy. Global-INK aims to create a synergy between like-minded people and organizations in four areas – environment, healthcare, innovation and science and technology. For instance, take healthcare. Some of India’s challenges are unique and while there are Indian scientists working on developing solutions for those, they can benefit from the experience and knowledge of a global Indian who has worked in that field.
