Global Digital Week is committed to closing the digital skills gap by bringing educational institutions, employers, and students together in collaboration on engaging events worldwide. Rather than trying to make people passionate about tech we host events that make people realise how tech is directly related to their passions and how they can get involved. In 2018 we delivered 20 events to over 1,192 attendees across 4 countries in just 8 months. We worked with over 46 partners including world-leading academic institutions (such as the University of Leeds and University of Mannheim), global companies (such as Google and LEGO) and SMEs (such asTen10 and Wakelet). We are on track to more than double last years performance and have since added many features to our offering - including Java training, news, online videos uncovering concepts and career help.
