Overview

At GHD Safeguarding my aim is to provide support, guidance and advice to those colleagues, educational settings and businesses with complex, high-volume safeguarding caseloads. I am based in the North West and travel nationally and have over 20 years experience across the education sector, working with children and young adults, with SEND predominately. As an experienced strategic-leader, teacher and colleague; I understand the challenges faced on a daily basis in educational settings. By accessing my services, you will receive the very highest professional advice, with empathy, challenge and integrity. I offer Head/DH/AH/DSL/DDSL professional and reflective supervision, Safeguarding and Child protection training and CPD, advice alongside high quality, experienced Supervision. 20 years of experience in Education, also available to industry, charities, Sports clubs and other organisations. I have been privileged to work as a teacher, senior and executive leader across an outstanding MAT, from primary through to post 25 adult social care provision. Loved my work on the Safeguarding Partnership Board and have a breadth of experience working across the sector with health, social care, probation, police and education colleagues in a number of panels and reviews. All of this experience has been driven not by the people I have worked for and with, but by all of the children, young adults and families that I have been blessed in working with and for. I will continue to strive to support and work with those close to the families and next generations of children that need our guidance and experience.
