Overview

Mission: 1. To establish an environment of fellowship and collaboration. 2. To increase patient access to high quality health care. 3. To network with colleagues from various specialities and backgrounds. 4. To create diversity and inclusion in the healthcare field by representation and awareness to the community in which we serve. About us: GAMPA originated in 2022 during the COVID pandemic. During a meeting for Physician Associates it was discovered that minority networking events were very limited to non existent. Providers did not know about the other, their speciality or their location in the greater Atlanta area. Representation to patients was also lacking showing their community does have minority healthcare providers. Hence Georgia Association of Minority Physician Associates was created. What we offer: Workshops Educational series New member events Employment opportunities Access to a mentor Fellowship events Annual retreats Annual conferences* Volunteer medical clinics Mental health check ins Mission trips Membership fee $100 annually New grads free for 6months post graduation date Call us to find out more information or use the online forum to join or make a donation
