Overview

Geek Islands is a fictional Greek archipelago whose inhabitants share their digital skills online through a distance-learning platform and offline by traveling to hard-to-reach areas. This initiative consists of two pillars: - Online courses on coding and other digital skills provided in Greek and available to anyone, anywhere, anytime. - In-person workshops organised in remote Greek areas (non-profit shipping line, mountainous and rural places).
