Overview

Global Entrepreneurship Council – Yemen (GECY) is a non-profit organization which was established in 2018 and registered with Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, license no (170). Considering that promotion of entrepreneurship is a key to economic growth and primary engine for creating a country’s wealth, the purpose of the council is to promote entrepreneurship for the global goals, to be the home of expertise for entrepreneurs, and to provide the opportunities for youth & women and unemployed people to demonstrate their entrepreneurial potential by being job creators rather than job seekers. Additionally, boost youth employment trough entrepreneurship in accordance with social inclusiveness, economic competitiveness, and environmental sustainability.
