GaWun Supplies creates and provides unique, indigenous designed uniforms and PPE that create awareness of the Australian Indigenous culture. The team at GaWun Supplies are committed to strengthening the connection between corporations and country through this awareness and education of the Indigenous Australian Culture. The ultimate goal for GaWun Supplies is to grow and develop an indigenous focused workforce that educates clients on how supporting ethically governed majority indigenous owned organisations make a difference to the wider Australian Indigenous and Torres Strait Island community. The name GaWun relates to the Co-Founder Michael Grundon's tribe, the Kabi Kabi people. The word Gawun has a meaning of 'Care For' in the Kabi Kabi language. GaWun meaning 'Care for' Supplies. The logo design was created by local indigenous artist Stevie O'Chin, it tells the story of the road GaWun is on connecting communities. A third of all profits within GaWun are donated back to indigenous communities and charities. Outside of educating organisations on the history of the traditional landowners of Australia, giving back is the main driver for GaWun Supplies. GaWun Supplies is Supply Nation registered and is 51% indigenous owned.
