In view of the divergence of African students in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and in compliance with the saying: () that Union makes strength ((), believing in us as a living and effective segment in society to contribute to building a personality With a strong educational system that participates in the advancement of our continent, it was necessary to establish a student entity that works to unite the students African students studying in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Indeed, the efforts of Dr. Boutros Boutros-Ghali - Minister of State for Foreign Affairs have already borne fruit Egyptian (at the time) and the Secretary-General of the United Nations (later) in establishing this entity under the name: (General Federation of Unions and Associations of African Foreign Students Studying in the Arab Republic of Egypt) one year 1988-1989 AD. The General Union seeks to achieve its desired goals and to develop the educational capabilities of African students cultural, social, and sports competitions in the field of scientific research, and work to overcome difficulties facing them.
