Overview

In 2016 the brand Galofaro was launched during the Pitti Immagine event in Florence at the Salon of Excellance where the first GALOFARO A / W 2017-2018 collection was officially presented, a collection of eighteen skirts combined with four iconic sweatshirts. The choice to present only a collection of skirts in the first season was dictated by wanting to communicate femininity through an iconic and timeless garment. Likewise, the choice of the cameo as the brand logo , is a representation form declined in a contemporary way and different from season to season, of an item I believe is a symbol of timeless femininity and elegance. Following the positive results of the first collection, the second, Spring / Summer 2018 is enriched with all the features of the pret-à-porter, the iconic t-shirt GALOFARO WHO ? is also born, which represents with self-irony the difficulty of a young brand to emerge and to respond to the demand through the collections. The garments are designed to deconstruct simplicity through shapes and materials , enriching it in the details and making each garment unique in its style. The research into the fabrics and the details creates the difference, the details are precise and sought in order to create a garment that makes the wearer feel special, refined and original. Vice versa in a garment with particular design or shape a basic or classic fabric is used to balance the style. The continuous research for contrasts is part of GALOFARO that interpret a young and contemporary woman looking for an unconventional elegance, in line with the trends of the season but with a particular detail that differentiates from the mass. Clothes that make her feel original, expressing her desire to be particular without exceeding excess, maintaining composure and elegance. Never boring and often fun.
