Nesidiocoris tenuis (Reuter) (Hemiptera:Miridae); it is a predatory insect that is naturally found in our country and is widely used in biological control. In 2014, an R&D project on 'Mass Production of the Predator Insect Nesidiocoris tenuis' was prepared within the scope of the Techno-enterprise Capital Support of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, and the project was successfully completed within the project period. 100% local mass production of the biological control agent Nesidiocoris tenuis with the trade name "Nesi-Günal" is carried out. Tarımsal üretimde zararlılarla mücadelede pestisiste alternatif bir mücadele olan ‘Biyolojik Mücadele’ önerilmektedir. Nesidiocoris tenuis (Reuter) (Hemiptera:Miridae); ülkemizde doğal olarak bulunan ve biyolojik olarak mücadelede yaygın olarak kullanılan bir avcı böcektir. 2014 yılında Bilim Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı’nın Teknogirişim Sermayesi Desteği kapsamında ‘Avcı Böcek Nesidiocoris tenuis ‘in Kitle Üretimi’ konulu bir Ar-Ge projesi hazırlanmış ve proje destek alarak proje süresi içerisinde başarıyla tamamlanmıştır. “Nesi-Günal” ticari adıyla Nesidiocoris tenuis olan biyolojik mücadele ajanının %100 yerli kitlesel üretimi gerçekleştirilmektedir.
