Overview

What is the Fylde Coast's Responsible Business Network? The Fylde Coast's Responsible Business Network is a network of businesses committed to supporting their local community. The network has been created, and is supported, by the Blackpool Pride of Place partnership, which is a flagship initiative of Business in the Community – HRH The Prince of Wales’ Responsible Business Network. Our Mission We aim to build a network of responsible businesses along the Fylde Coast who will: • Be the best they can be in delivering social, environmental and economic sustainability across all areas of their business • Join with other businesses to bring together their collective strength and be a force for good in the local community Who can be involved? The Fylde Coast's Responsible Business Network is free to join and is open to any business who wants to contribute to the local community, whether that’s social, environmental or economic. It can range from a few hours volunteering to clean up an area - to providing paint for a local school - to taking on an apprentice - to mentoring start-up businesses. What are the benefits to joining? • Quarterly networking events to share success stories and promote best practice, alongside the opportunity to meet other businesses within the Responsible Business Network • Help your business achieve its social responsibility objectives and give something back to the local community • A brokering service to match your business and staff with local opportunities, tailored to the needs of your business • Be part of a responsible business movement and make a tangible difference in the local area • Positive PR – good news stories from members of the network will be shared locally and nationally on social media
