The FPEF represents 95% of fresh produce export volumes. Membership is voluntary but all members must adfhere to a Code of Conduct. The FPEF provides Export Process assistance – Identify and address technical and operational matters with regards to export requirements : Logistics (Port efficiencies, “Road-to-Rail”, etc.) Legislation which impacts on fresh produce exports by pro-active engagements Documentation Access for SA fresh produce to new international markets, market development on genreric level by arranging international trade shows and promotions, transformation assistance by assisting in developing emerging exporters, provide training material and training ands manages an nternship programme, conducting research, development, and innovation via the Post-harvest Innovation Programme
