Overview

Franchetti spa is a software firm specialised in structural algorithms whose international headquarters are located near Vicenza, in northeastern Italy. The company, which in its present form was founded in 2013, has operating subsidiaries in Brazil and in Canada, as well a corporate presence in the United States, in India and in Singapore. It is best known for its pioneering work in the highly promising field of “predictive maintenance”. Franchetti’s main field of endeavor is in the area of inspection, analysis and predictive maintenance scheduling of the high-value elements - primarily bridges - of complex transportation networks. Altogether, Franchetti has so far operated on approximately ten thousand highway and railway bridges around the world. The strongest part of the company’s offer is its technique of predictive maintenance, a methodology which transforms raw inspection data into reliable operating-life predictions and maintenance requirements for large-scale infrastructural elements in concrete, steel and in masonry. Of the Company’s roughly 100 employees, well over half are engineers. Franchetti is a Group whose international language is “engineering.”
