Overview

Formula 24 Fife is a Youth STEM Charity, based at Crosshill Business Centre in Fife, Scotland. Designing, engineering and racing Greenpower Formula 24 cars. Formula 24 Fife has 2 teams; Fife Lightnin' and Benarty Bullets, with another kit-car and team on the way! The ages for teams range from 11-25, but younger members will start on a kit car, then move on to a custom car, before finally building and racing in the harder category of F24+ along with University teams. Two of our teams (Fife Lightnin' and a former team, Bragin' Fifers) have represented Scotland, and Europe in a race in Alabama, USA and even secured a place at the podium! We are currently looking for new members that are based in Fife to help with fundraising and marketing activities. We are also always looking for new team members (aged 11-25), especially as we have the funding for a new Kit Car and further expenses such as travelling to races and getting any equipment or resources the teams want to apply for. We provide opportunities to young people to participate in STEM in a fun, practical and learning environment. Providing opportunities to young people to participate in STEM in a fun, practical and learning environment. 2. To provide recreational facilities and organise recreational activities around the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics / Mechanics (S.T.E.M.) .
