Fonderie Pilenga Baldassarre SpA, established in 1959 in Lallio (Bergamo) by Mr. Baldassarre Pilenga and his wife, has been being a cast iron foundry characterized by its extremely flexible production, in order to satisfy its customer’s demands in a short time. In the course of time, the Firm has acquired the specialization in different sectors such as the most significant: tractor sector, automotive, pumps for farming, reduction gears, valves, bombast and street furniture both with grey and spheroidal cast iron. The firm has been certified since 1996 with Quality ISO 9001 system and since 2002 with the integrated system Quality – Safety – Environment. A qualified team focused on research and development of new technical solutions, together with an organic of 150 employees, allows the company to keep up with times and to maintain a stable position on the market. Five electrical induction furnaces of 28 tons each and automatic casting on the four moulding lines, allows reaching 30,000 net tons dispatched each year, both in grey and spheroidal cast iron only made in Italy.
