At Fly Fish Islay we arrange bespoke Guided Fly Fishing Experiences on the Hebridean island of Islay on the west coast of Scotland. Islay is a beautiful island with an ever changing landscape, and incredibly diverse fauna and fauna. In recent years Islay has become the eagle island so regular or the sightings of osprey, golden eagle and white tailed sea eagle. AS well as all this, Islay is home to no less than 8 iconic malt whisky distilleries, it is the whisky capital of the world making this island the dram loving angler's dream location. Former Caol Ila Distillery Manager David Wood and Wychwood Game's Glen Pointon make the perfect host and guides for guests who join the guided experiences for usually between 4 and 7 days at a time. During the week guests fish for brown trout, sea trout and salmon in hill lochs and the sea from both bank and boat.
