Overview

FIFEC is a joint effort between the Florida Division of Investigative and Forensic Services (DIFS) and the Special Investigation Units of the Insurance Industry to facilitate communication and education. FIFEC grew to over 500 attendees in 2010, over 700 attendees in 2012, and over 1,000 individuals to the present day. FIFEC has offered continuous training seminars for DIFS and SIU investigators, law enforcement, prosecutors, insurance adjusters and management, and insurance defense in the ongoing fight to combat insurance fraud.
