Overview

First Chapter is a new organization dedicated to education. We provide the opportunity for underprivileged youth to experience a solid education at home and at school by re-distributing books, school supplies, and other essential items. It is our hope that this small step has an expansive impact--providing an education for those who find it hard to experience. Every second, one out of five families faces the issues associated with living at or near poverty in America. Even schools are losing essential funding that is threatening America's educational standards and neglecting to prepare a generation of leaders. How will they be ready to tackle the obstacles our future holds? As a volunteer-driven organization, we target frugal school districts and poverty-stricken communities so that everyone may have the same opportunities to reach their full potential in life. We strive to offer easy opportunities for youth to get involved, so that we can continue our mission. This is why we are currently a project seeking 501(c)3 status in Ventura County.
